ThermoSense Touch Screen Thermostat (FCU and DX)
ThermoSense wireless communicating thermostats for FCU and DX units. Remote setpoints, schedules and energy savings for UAE buildings.
Smart climate control from MachineSens IoT uses ThermoSense wireless AC thermostats and controllers to bring FCU, DX, split and window AC units under central control. Each device talks to a gateway with no new control cabling. Facilities teams in Dubai and across the UAE then set schedules, limits and setpoints from the BuildOT One platform.

ThermoSense Intelligent Thermostat Push Button from MachineSens IoT is a durable wireless smart thermostat for high-traffic UAE and GCC buildings.
ThermoSense NRF Split AC controller is a plug-and-play device for central monitoring and control of split AC units from BuildOT One.
ThermoSense NRF Window AC controller gives central monitoring and control of window AC units from BuildOT One.
| Product | What it measures or does | Connectivity | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| ThermoSense Wireless Communicating Thermostats | Touch screen thermostat for FCU and DX units, with built-in temperature and humidity sensing | Wireless, through a gateway | Offices, apartments and hotel rooms with FCUs |
| ThermoSense Push Button: Simple Smart Thermostat | Simple push button thermostat | Wireless | High-traffic rooms, student housing and schools |
| ThermoSense Split AC Controller | Central monitoring and control of split AC units | Wireless, through a gateway | Staff accommodation, villas and offices with split units |
| ThermoSense Wireless Window AC Controller | Central monitoring and control of standard window AC units | Wireless, through a gateway | Older buildings and labour accommodation with window units |
All four products follow the same pattern. The device sits on the wall or at the AC unit, a gateway collects its data, and BuildOT One shows every room on one screen. Operators can change setpoints, switch units off after hours and spot rooms that run all day. No new control cabling is needed, so installation suits occupied buildings. A typical building goes live in about 30 days.
ThermoSense devices report to the Comfort and Climate module for room-level control. AirBMS manages many rooms or buildings from one screen, and Energy and Utilities shows the effect on consumption. Facilities managers can compare rooms, floors and buildings, find units that never switch off and check that schedules are being followed. For the full approach, see Building Performance Management.
Cooling can make up about 70% of peak load in Gulf buildings (PwC Strategy&). That makes smart climate control one of the fastest ways to cut waste. ThermoSense runs in schools, hotels, staff accommodation, offices and residential buildings across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider GCC. Staff accommodation is a common starting point, because many split and window units are spread over many rooms. At a private school in Dubai, ThermoSense thermostats with AirBMS and an NRF gateway delivered a 10 to 15% energy saving. Read the private school case study. See also hospitality and education.
