FlowCheck Ultrasonic Flow Converter: Fixed and Wall Mount

The FlowCheck ultrasonic flow converter from MachineSens IoT is the electronics unit for the FlowCheck clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter. It comes in fixed mount and wall mount versions, outputs over Modbus RS-485, and feeds flow and energy data to the BuildOT One platform. It is separate from the AquaSense Leak Sensor.

What the Ultrasonic Flow Converter does

• Converts clamp-on signals. The converter reads the ultrasonic flowmeter and turns it into usable flow data.
• Avoids cutting pipes. Clamp-on sensing means no shutdown to install.
• Measures heat and cooling energy. The wall mount version supports energy calculation for chilled and hot water loops.
• Scales by channel. Choose 1, 2 or 4 channels on the wall mount version.
• Suits two environments. IP30 fixed mount for enclosures, IP67 wall mount for harsher spots.

Where it is used

Typical uses include chilled water and hot water loops in commercial towers, malls, hospitals, hotels and district cooling connected buildings across the UAE and GCC. Clamp-on sensing is helpful on existing pipework where cutting in a meter is difficult.
