Product Overview
Pulse Convert is a powerful and easy to use protocol converter that enables the integration of BACnet (Building Automation and Control Network) devices into a MQTT (Message Queue Telemetry Transport) infrastructure allowing BACnet based systems such as HVAC, lighting, energy, and security systems to communicate with devices and systems on MQTT protocol for remote monitoring and control.
Pulse Convert MQTT driver supports TLS V1.2 enabling secure/encrypted MQTT communication.
Multi-Functional Configuration
Pulse Convert can be configured as both BACnet Client/master, MQTT subscriber and BACnet server and MQTT Client. These configuration combinations allow gathering of data from BACnet field devices and publishing information over MQTT for remote MQTT clients to send commands via subscriptions to take any control action back on the field devices. Minimal configuration and installation make Pulse Convert a “plug-andplay” efficient solution for protocol conversion within your system network.
Wirelses Instrumentation
Pulse Convert uses a low-power long range wireless technology LoRaWAN to relay data from the gateway to the central server making it suitable for IoT applications such as smart homes, smart cities and industrial IoT. It can also simultaneously receive instructions from the server side.Pulse Convert can also be customized to support other wireless RF communication technologies.
Scalability
Pulse Convert can connect to multiple devices and brokers, making it suitable for small and large network systems. Its compact design makes it easy to install.
